The method

Books made together. In one month.

We developed a card-based facilitation method that turns a group of curious humans into co-authors - in 30 days.

Format

The Mastermind

A group of 10-20 people gather physically at a partner venue for one month. They live together, work together, eat together, and explore together - and by the end, they have co-authored a book that none of them could have written alone.

Book #1 (How To Build A Regenerative Village) was written at Traditional Dream Factory in Portugal. Books #2 and #3 (How To Semi Nomad and Cultivating Neighbourhoods) were written at Vermont Hub in Switzerland.

The venue matters. Immersion is the point. When you live with your co-authors, the ideas come faster, the trust runs deeper, and the book becomes something richer.

Facilitation

Created Through Play

Cards are used to guide structured discussion, unlock collective intelligence, balance participation, and build a shared narrative. Each card prompts a question, a story, or a practice. Together, they form a living document of the group's collective wisdom.

The card method in action

Structured

Cards provide a clear framework. Everyone knows what is being explored, and the conversation stays on track without a heavy-handed facilitator.

Balanced

No single voice dominates. The card structure gives quieter contributors space to be heard, and keeps the loudest voices in check.

Emergent

The best ideas come from collision and conversation, not from a single expert. Cards create the conditions for collective intelligence to emerge.

Step by step

From question to book in 30 days

1

Choose the question

Every book starts with one shared question - a topic that matters enough to spend a month exploring together.

2

Gather the humans

We recruit 10-20 people who have lived experience with the question. Authors, practitioners, thinkers, and builders.

3

Play cards

The card method guides month-long structured sessions. Stories are told, ideas are mapped, wisdom is captured.

4

Write, illustrate, edit

Content from sessions is woven into chapters. Each book is illustrated throughout - visual thinking is part of the method.

5

Publish + distribute

Books are published via Lulu and distributed globally. Physical and digital editions are both available.

6

Share in the royalties

Every co-author receives an equal share of ongoing royalties. Transparent. Perpetual. Reported annually.

The long game

The collective outlasts the book

Once a book is made, the community does not dissolve. Authors stay connected, continue sharing royalties, and have priority access to future masterminds. Each new book strengthens the network.

The model is regenerative. 50% of profits are reinvested into the collective - to fund future books, improve the method, and reward people who helped build what came before.

We are building a new kind of publishing institution. One where the authors are the institution.
